Thoughts from last nights game: 1. Arrowhead has GOT to be the hardest place to play for an opposing team and QB. The noise. I had forgotten how loud it can get. The 12th man for the Chiefs IS the crowd. 2. Tom Brady - I have decided he doesnt like to play in KC at all. I have seen him 4-times here, 2 of which were wins. When he loses here, he loses big. He literally gave up last night. I watched his body language, the mistakes he made. He threw in the towel at half time. That was very disappointing. 3. Chiefs looked GOOD last night. I am not sure if the combination of the excitement of a national stage on Monday night and the fan support did it, but they came onto the field ready to play. The Patriots looked flat, not ready to play. 4. Did I mention how loud it was yet? 5. The lets go royals chants throughout the game is something I do not get at all. To me it was like the joker who showed up to the game last night wearing Pittsburgh Steelers gear to the game. Out of place. I know all the Chiefs fan will disagree with me, and KC fans in general, but it was just weird to me. Totally acceptable when some of the Royals players were there at the beginning of the game however. 6. There were a LOT of Patriots fans at the game. Not just the kind that live in Oklahoma and like the Patriots because they used to win all the time, but people from the Boston area. I talked to several of them as they strolled by our tailgate spot. 7. Last, and certainly not least, Andrea Carter and her husband Mark are top notch people, I had a great time with them and their tailgate crew as well as Ashley and Aaron Poe. I learned that Corn Hole is not my game, and that I can still cook a mean tailgate meal. Thanks guys for allowing me to tag along. It was a wicked pissah experience.
