Thoughts on The NBA Playoffs, (I dont know what number this one is... LOL): 1) So Lance Stephenson has talked about Dwayne Wades gimpy knees and Lebron being weak so far through this series. Wade is averaging 22 pts for the series on 53% shooting (his high for a series in the last two years) and Lebron absolutely TORCHED the Pacers in Game 4 after Stephenson called him out... oh, and the Heat held Stephenson scoreless in the first half of game 4 and forced him into his worst game thus far. Keep talking kid.... lol 2) Paul George is not a Super Star. Good player... yup. Lots of upside and potential... yup. Chance at maybe being a superstar sometime in the future... possibly. But right now, he is not... check his stats, they tell the story (he is shooting 42% from the field and averaging 21 for the playoffs) 3) How many excuses do the Pacers actual have? Do they talk them out pre-game and then put them into play if they lose post game? George complained in the post game press conference that the Pacers actually outplayed the Heat and that the refs cost them the game. Oh, what a short memory you have... Last night the Heat did outshoot the Pacers from the free throw line by 17 attempts. But in Game 1 (the only Pacer win) the Pacers outshot the Heat by 22 Ft Attempts. In games 2 and 3 the FT attempts for both teams were about even. For the series the pacers still have the FT shot attempt advantage. So when the Pacers win by shooting more free throws its ok.... but if the Heat win by shooting more Free Throws, it is a biased win tainted by home cooking? Get outta here..... 4) I love how all the talking heads on ESPN and TBS have spun the Heat dominating the playoffs so far (2 losses this whole post season) as no big deal... I thought the Nets and the Pacers were built to BEAT THE HEAT. That was the whole motivation for the year, no? The Nets brought in the mummies of playoffs past for one last run at the Heat, and the Pacers were working hard all year for Home Court Advantage that would put them over the top of the Heat in this years playoffs.... hows that working out exactly? 5) Chris Bosh just shut everyone who was talking shit about him right up, no? He could go to another team and average 20 and 10 as the main option without a doubt. He plays lazy now, but if he wanted to he could be great still 6) Damn, I didnt realize how important Ibaka was to OKC. I knew losing him would hurt, but getting him back and wining showed just how important he is to the team in general. He changes the game in ways that dont show up on the stat sheet. 7) Popovich really is a class act. The props he gave Ibaka in the press show his real feelings on Serge, but also serve to put his team on blast as well. He is an evil genius, but I do believe he was being sincere. 8) I really am looking forward to tonights Game 4 between the Spurs and OKC. I wonder if we will be knotted up or in a 3-1. I am leaning towards OKC at home, but the Spurs always bounce back from losses well. Thoughts?
