Thoughts to this mans family Latest Media Releases Man dies while defending home from Lake Munmorah fire Friday, 18 October 2013 09:47:30 AM A report is being prepared for the Coroner after the death of a man who collapsed while defending his home against bushfires at Lake Munmorah yesterday (Thursday 17 October 2013). About 6.10pm emergency services were called to a house in Carters Road. Attempts were made to resuscitate the 63-year-old man at the scene. He was then taken to Wyong Hospital where he later died. A post mortem examination will officially determine how the man died Detectives from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command will be examining the man’s medical history as a part of their investigations on behalf of the Coroner.
