Thousands Stage Sit-in against corruption in Public Health Engineering Department Badin. Badin. Thousands of people belonging to Quaidabad and Shahburhan Road led by Syed Ali Anwer Shah President,Save The Country Badin, here on Sunday held a sit-in against embezzlement of billions of rupees in the Public Health Engineering Department Badin. Addressing the protest sit-in at Press Club and Aiwane Safahat Badin speakers expressed their concern over the rampant corruption in the aforementioned department at the cost of public welfare.They demanded of the provincial government to conduct an inquiry into the embezzlement of funds and corruption in the said department and bound Deputy Commissioner Badin to complete the developmental work in Quaidabad Mohalla Badin on priority basis otherwise the people would launch a protest movement.They also demanded immediate transfer of X-en and SDO of PHED Badin for massive corruption in the department.Those who spoke on the occasion were:Syed Ali Anwer Shah,Advocate Noor Muhammad Soomro,Roshin Qazi,Advocate Kamran Lakho and Sain Noor Muhammd.
