Thousands of protesters marched in New York City on Sunday, in what organizers say was the largest march against climate change on record. Organisers say as many as 310,000 people turned out for the Peoples Climate March. The march came on the same day as roughly 3,000 other climate change events were taking place across the globe, and also just days before the United Nations 2014 Climate Summit begins.
