Threatening SMSes sent by Aveek Sarkar to the owner Srikant Mohta - TopicsExpress

Threatening SMSes sent by Aveek Sarkar to the owner Srikant Mohta of Venkatesh Films, a leading production house, where he mentioned that ‘CBI and Amit Shah is watching him together,’ .This proves some nexus between Sarkar and BJP party President in Bengal. Mohta has already filed an FIR against Sarkar with the police. ABP organised an event sponsored by i-Core group (Chit Fund Company) abroad. If Tumpai can be arrested for entering business deals with a chit-fund, shouldn’t Aveek Sarkar be arrested too for accepting sponsorship or advertisements from chit-funds? ABP Group owner tried to convert 3.5 acres of prime land on EM-Bypass in Kolkata into a commercial complex. This land was given to him for office purpose but now he wants to have a commercial complex on the same land, which is illegal. Not the least, he also wanted to lease out a portion of the land to a private developer to build a five star hotel at Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC), which was protested and invited criticism from all spheres for holding a huge land at New Town to build Kolkata Museum of Modern Art (KMOMA). As per rule one has to start construction within three years of land allotment. Aveek Sarkar and his group has got more than Rs 100 crore (approximately) collected from chit fund companies in the form of advertisements and give credence to all chit fund firms in Bengal. They have also extended an honour of ‘banga ratna’ to Anukul Maity of i-Core Group in New York allegedly in exchange of Rs 500 crore as well as given another award to KKN group owned by Kaushik Nath in London. How come they are arresting only one newspaper group owner and allowing the major beneficiaries to roam freely? Credit: Younus Sk
