Three Black Men Beat & Rob Man Then Yell, “This Is For Trayvon Martin!” A man in the Washington DC area was violently beaten and robbed on Saturday. His attackers were three black men who randomly approached him as he was walking down Euclid Street. Right before the crime happened, the three attackers screamed, “This is for Trayvon Martin” at the victim. The three men then brutally kicked the victim to the ground, stole his wallet, and fled the scene. The incident is currently being investigated by police as a hate crime. Araz Alali, a spokesman for the Washington DC police said, “These attacks are outrageous; we are doing everything in our power to see that they certainly don’t occur. If they do occur, we are going to aggressively investigate them and bring people to justice.” Ever since George Zimmerman was acquitted, violence has been sparked throughout the country.
