Three Swedish clubs are continuing their uphill battle of qualifying for the Euro League. 12th place team Gefle managed to turn a 0-3 loss against the cypriotic Anorthosis to a 4-3 on aggregate. 10th place Häcken managed a 2-2 away game against Sparta Prague, and finally won by scoring the only goal in the match at home. 2nd place Malmö FF got the biggest win against Hibernian by first winning at home with 2-0 as the final result and later to crush their opponents in Scotland with a 0-7 win, and with 7 different goal scorers.. In the next round: Gefle against Karabach from Azerbaijan. Häcken against Thun from Switzerland. Malmö against Swansea from Wales.. IFK Göteborg was the only Swedish team to not go through this round after what has been described as a disastrous 1-2 loss against Trencin from Slovakia..
