Three counts down in the Midlands North-West EU Constituency, but many more to go! It look like MEP Marian Harkin is in pole position for the last seat. While the joint FF vote is more than a quota, the best the party can hope for is a transfer ratio of 50-55%. Harkin will get some of the Thomas Byrne votes as well. So the FF transfer would be more than enough to overhaul the current gap between Marian and Cope, but FF are far from certain of retaining their seat. Well just haave to wait and see.
