Three men were arrested following a disturbance at Glenelg yesterday afternoon. With the onset of warmer weather and many families heading to the beachfront, Sturt Police wish to remind the public that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. Police were called to the Glenelg Jetty at about 3.30pm with reports that a group of young men were picking fights with other people in the area. Four people were assaulted, with one man robbed of his keys and mobile phone. Police swiftly arrested three men, including a 27-year-old Smithfield Plains man, a 21-year-old Elizabeth Grove man and a 19-year-old man from Brahma Lodge. All three were charged with aggravated assaulted and aggravated robbery. The Elizabeth Grove man was further charged with offensive language.
