Three new URASHIMA releases coming in stock soon: Uma 067 Nyodene D – Mouths that Reap the Harvest LP Recorded in 2013 shortly after the release of Edenfall, this first vinyl LP from the American death industrial project explores the destructive realities of industrialized agriculture, Heathen atavism and humanitys continuing exemptionalist arrogance and loss of a spiritual connection to nature. The three tracks feature composed layers of grinding analog electronics, melodic synths, droning guitar, heavy percussion, scrap metal and a brutal vocal delivery that listeners have come to expect from Nyodene D. This release also features horns from Sean Ragon (Cult Of Youth, Believer/Law) vocal contributions from Stephen Petrus (Murderous Vision) and original artwork by illustrator Nate Burns. The record has been pressed on 140 gr black vinyl with black label and black inner sleeve and comes in a deluxe silver silkscreen on black cardboard sleeve, limited to 99 copies w/insert in luxury 160 gr ivory paper. Uma 068 Hypnosis – Moon of Death and Other Recent Works LP This is the debut album from Hypnosis, a duo consiting of Dan Johansson (Sewer Election) and Joachim Nordwall (The Skull Defekts/iDEAL). These guys have a long history in the Swedish experimental music scene, releasing tons of stuff, playing and setting up gigs, feeding the underground and sometimes surfing academic sound art worlds too. Together they make minimal tape music, it is cold, empty and psychedelic. Something unpleasant but still laid back, slow. A beast with no teeth. Uma 069 Caen – Middlefield LP Caen is a solo project of Gordon Ashworth (Concern, Oscillating Innards). Caen is based on simple tape loops of melodic sounds, expanded into minimal and lo-fi vignettes of crude, textural drones, each piece recorded late at night. Middlefield is a collection of material spanning 2003-2013, previously released on cassette by Ekhein, Gutter Rash, Iatrogenesis, and Monorail Trespassing.
