Three things every person should learn young: #1.... Grow up, move out, become a truly independent person. You can live with others, but never lose your independence to anyone. Protect your freedom to be your own person, make your own choices and always be able to stand alone if you need to. #2.... You will never be financially successful living someone elses dream. If you arent interested in it, passionate about it, arent willing to work to be the best there ever was at it then dont do it because you will waste your life and be bad at doing it anyway. #3.... It doesnt matter what others think about you, it only matters what you believe about yourself. There are few people who dont spend too much time worrying about what others think about their clothes, job, lifestyle or choice of partner. The greatest gift anyone could give you is permission to stop wasting a minute of your life giving a damn about the judgments of others and then teach you to spend all your time worrying about becoming the person you were meant to be if you just stopped trying to please others rather than making yourself happy. Permission given, it is all about you this week.
