Three years after Ghana got independent we did and its been 53 years since then but i have a message for all of us And it reads thus. that today is not a day to ask what the country has done for you,not a day to back bite the economy or a day to question the social ,religious,political or the international relations of our country.its not a day to comment on our political infighting ( BOKO HARAAM ) but a day to ask ourselves of our actions and inactions,question ourselves of our contributions to the economy, of our contributions to the nation politics either by active participation or by passive criticism. Its not even a day to rejoice because we are not yet free from our own self.But most importantly a day to call to mind that all we owe to our country is the duty of CHANGE and good ethical disposition to our fellow citizens.Through only that can we be sure of independent. Happy independence people.53 years is the youth of old age.we should grow up.
