Three years after I resigned my full-time, hard earned position in Fire Rescue as an EMT-Paramedic-Firefighterbecause of three years of Incognito style harassment spearheaded by DVP Ian Sargent at District 7 and they are STILL at it. Despite repeated requests to be removed from the e-mail list look what I received tonight. (And I get maybe one generic message a year, but not this time. Hey Johnny Mac you know what U CAN DO with your email and praise of POS Ian?!?! Guess... --------------------------------------------------------- Dear Brother and Sisters of District 7: This past week, the I.A.F.F. conducted its annual educational conference for Union Officers with over 1400 members attending from all across the country, including Canada. It provided all of the attendees with a wealth of information on a variety of issues. I just wanted to express to you how refreshing it is to have a District Vice President who is still committed to improving upon the already extensive experience he has and continues to display as your elected Union Official. D.V.P. Sargent is a tremendous asset, not just for your District, but for the entire Local and I thought you should all know about his hard work and dedication on your behalf in continuing to educate himself on better ways to represent the labor movement. In addition, I want to extend a special thanks to Brother Juan Linares who also attended his first I.A.F.F. educational event to get a first hand take on several different aspects of representing firefighters in the labor movement. Great job! John K. McNamara President - I.A.F.F. Local 3080 Metro-Broward Professional Fire Fighters
