Three years ago our life was turned upside down and inside out when I was diagnosed with Sarcoma ( a form of cancer that attacks the muscle and soft tissue). It has been a crazy journey to say the least and I never dreamed I would hear a doctor tell me I had six months to live but I did, I guess that is one of those things you always think happens to somebody else. The surgeries where experimental and left me with scares both physical and emotional that I will carry the rest of my life but for some reason God seen fit to let me live through all of it. Dont get me wrong because I am so grateful that I get to watch Luke grow up and I now get to spend more time with my wife who is also my best friend in the world but I sure miss getting up and being able to go to work., It was a honor to be able to work and support my family and to be honest that is all I have ever known. Seem like its just one struggle after another and then I get to thinking I will just try to go back to work some how then I end up hurting my hip or leg and quickly get reminded that aint gonna happen! If you have your health and a job to go to be so thankful even I know it can get aggravating some times but trust me you really dont know how blessed you are till its gone . Be Blessed!
