Three years ago today, I chose to start the journey of a lifetime. Jacob Johnson, who just recently got back from his two-year mission to Boise, Idaho, baptized me a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As I go through my days here at BYU, I often forget that my life has been filled with countless blessings. I have a beautiful, wonderful, loving family that I get to spend eternity with, my friends are the best friends anyone could possibly ask for, I love my school and the opportunity that I have to gain a higher education, and the list keeps going on for miles. Each day, as I look at the beauty surrounding me and the people who bless my life, I am simply grateful. I am humbly grateful for all that I have been given, and all that I have had the opportunity to learn. I am grateful for a Heavenly Father who loves me endlessly. I am grateful for a Savior and a brother who stands by my side always. I am grateful for scriptures and the knowledge and peace contained on each page, in every verse. I am grateful for the Holy Spirit and its guidance, and most of all, I am grateful for the life that my Father has blessed me with. It is by no means easy, but I wouldnt have it any other way. So, happy anniversary to me and the best day of my life
