Three years ago today, about this time Thomas H. Coon, the first man I ever loved, the first man I ever dance with standing on his feet, the first man who ever told me I was pretty and that he loved me, my knight in shining armor, the man I measured all others by even to this day, took his last breath as I held his hand in the apartment I had made for him attached to my home. He was and will always be the bright spot in my universe. his smile, his laugh, his crazy sense of humor and most of all his loving heart, showed me how to live my life and meet each day with determination. My Daddy, 30 year marine, business owner, construction worker, animal lover, and most of all my hero. The sun has lost some of its brightness, as has each day without you. I love you Daddy and miss you every minute, still and always will be , your little girl. Until I can step into your secure and strong hug once more, I will hold each memory of you as a treasure and balm for my heart..
