Through years of reading my Bible I am always amazed at the new revelation that God can give to you although you know the verse, memorized it and even preach it to others. We truly need our daily bread ( the word of God). Jesus said to the disciples, from now on you are not servants but friends. I have a friend who has known me since i was 19 years old. His name is Ed Rhymes. He went through some of my most craziest, painful, good, bad and ugly times. I can never forget times where i would be on my way to do something senseless and he would try and reason with me, yet he would stay right there with me because he knew the danger i was going to get into and the help that i was going to need. You see people, a friend does not have to agree with you, but because of their love for you they stay with you. I thank God i understand that word friend because i have experienced it in my life ( a true friend ). My understanding of God being my friend is that, He will not change who He is or what His Word says for me, He will also, let me know when He is not in agreement with something I may do or say, but this i know, He will never leave me or forsake me. Thank you Jesus for choosing me to be your friend. You shed your very blood to call me a friend. I am so grateful.... Next i will comment on the word Adaption : Thank God for the Staffords in Detroit who welcomed me in like their own. Mom feeding me and pops telling me that working with a hammer and nail was not in my future. Joe, Dre, Mickey, Peanut, Big Mo. Thank You Jesus.....
