Throughout history we have played the blame game, scapegoating - TopicsExpress

Throughout history we have played the blame game, scapegoating other people, nations, and religions for our own shortcomings. There has been an effort to instill fear, mistrust, anger and hate of those who are different from us so that we can attain power and control over the hearts and minds of those who are ignorant of the truth. This has lead to endless conflict and wars. This does not have to continue. At one point in history, for a period of almost 300 years, the three Abrahamic religions and other religions from around the world worked together, shared their teachings, churches, temples, and mosques, in an effort to uplift all of humanity. This resulted in great advances in building, learning, philosophy, medicine, religious understanding, and the sciences. Great centers of learning were formed and lost knowledge and understanding in one culture, that was preserved in another, was retranslated into the various languages and shared so that all could benefit and rediscover the lost wisdom. We have the opportunity today to put an end to the cycle of violence, war, anger, and hate. We can take back our governments, religions, and institutions of learning from the radical elements, that still play the blame game and continue to use lies and deception to maintain power and control. Many people want to be able to live in harmony and peace and let others do the same. This will not happen, however, as long as we remain silent and do nothing. If you love God and humanity, you must take a stand for what is best for all of humanity and do your part to put an end to the conflicts and wars.
