Throughout my time in Lathrop as a student, Commissioner, Ambassador and now a Councilmember I have had the opportunity to work with 4 different Mayors. Two as a constituent and 2 as a fellow colleague. Throughout that time I have always respected and offered my support as best I could. No doubt there has been a series of issues that we have disagreed on and many more where the consensus has been there. However, two of those Mayors have stood out as leaders, policy drivers, and respected members of this community. I have gotten to know them on a professional and personal level and could not have more respect than I already have for them. I owe alot to Kristy Marie Winter and her dedication and motivation to helping me grow. She was a strong advocate or this community and stood up against strong interest even in the hardest of times. Lathrop is in a great place today because of her leadership as Mayor. Mayor Sonny Dhaliwal is also a great leader that builds consensus with council to get policy passed that are beneficial to Lathrop. He is a great advocate for development and is constantly working overtime to keep us in a great place as a city. Lathrop is lucky to have him as Mayor and I have always offered my support. I just wanted to share with the public the great leadership Lathrop has and continues to have. We are in a great place and will continue to do our best. You are in good hands. I promise you that. All done. :)
