Throwback Thursday to one of the very first pieces of furniture I sold back in 2011. I have to say, as proud as I was of this dresser back then, I look at it now and cringe just a little. Not that its ugly (or maybe it is?!) but its just not at all the look I was going for. I actually traded another dresser that I sold, for this one, which was covered in black scribbles and bound for the dump. I remember picking out this colour, thinking it was emerald green, but clearly looking at it now, thats not the case. I also hate how I distressed this one, and sanded to have the white primer showing through. ICK! But, on a positive note, I feel like Ive grown a lot in 4 years, and hopefully have a much sharper eye now! If I could take this dresser back now, I would paint it in a high gloss emerald or kelly green with white handles--like I originally intended! What would you do with this dresser?
