Throwback Thursday with Eeksaurus Today we are going to tell you a few facts about our ad :Google Tanjore - the web is what you make of it Based on the true story of a type of art that was losing its value both commercially and otherwise, BBH Mumbai came up with a concept for Google India that stood apart from their usual communication to the audience. The film visually narrates how Google chrome made the internet more user friendly and reachable to a common man. The film narrates the story of a struggling artist who finds it hard to run his business since he remains invisible to the large global market. Once he learns the immense marketing opportunities that internet provides, he sets up a website and uses Google Chrome to access his online painting shop. Chrome helps him flourish and become visible to immense number of customers. This in turn lifts his business to new levels. The film finally communicates how Google chrome extends its hands to an ordinary man from Southern India and makes him and his work a part of the global entrepreneurial family. The film, being a testimony explores and exposes the power on the internet and how it makes anyone from any corner of the world look at himself from a new perspective. Russell Barrett and his team from BBH Mumbai thought E Suresh, Director at Studio Eeksaurus Production Pvt Ltd, with his design background, would be the right person to bring this idea to life. Sureshs idea to use the South Indian temple instruments Nadaswaram and Thevil in the track was taken on by the great composer and renowned musician Shrikant Shriram. They were used to create the unique sound we hear in the ad. It is also the first commercial that renowned musician has composed a track for.
