Thursday August 7 Rainy, sunny, rainy, sunny, windy - strange weather. I guess that is what to expect when a hurricane is approaching. We spent the morning gathering all the most important papers - the stuff that we would need if the house blows away - and taking copies of it all to our safe deposit box at the bank. Then we went to Asahi Grill on Ward Avenue for late lunch - great Loco Moco and a Roast Pork special. When we came out we saw that the old tofu factory is now a showroom for Waterman Core4 stand-up paddle boards and equipment.Gotta take a look!! The coolest one was the inflatable which fits in an oversize backpack when you let the air out. Aloha, Kanoe p.s. I might wish I had one when the hurricane hits.
