Thursday January 23, 2014 SKY CONDITION: Partly to maybe mostly sunny today for a change with a slight chance of scattered showers. This morning weather satellites show that there are still remnants of the stationary frontal trough that extends from The Bay Islands to eastern Cuba. It will continue to dissipate. The next cold front that we can expect to mildly affect our weather is just moving off the Texas coast now. It is a weak front and is forecast to enter the NW Gulf of Mexico Saturday night. Unfortunately, it looks like it may get reinforced by a stronger cold front on Sunday night. If this occurs we may see bad weather again next week. We’ll stay focused on this system and report. We can expect cool, cloudy weather with intermittent rain as these cold fronts approach and depart our area. We may also see periods of sunshine between these fronts. TEMPERATURE: From the low 70’s F to low 80’s F (22 to 24 C) WINDS: Light and variable today from the SSE to ENE in direction at 10 mph or less. Ugh, buggy! SEAS: Moderate at 1 to 4 feet SUNRISE: 6:18 am Local Time (LT) SUNSET: 5:38 pm LT No group too large or small; we can handle them all. COME FLY WITH US
