Thursday (July 4)Daily Prayer. Peace be with you Sisters and Brothers in Christ Jesus, let us pray... O Lord, were able to pay the price of my sin, and you did so on Calvary. The forgiveness that you extend to me is free, but it is definitely not cheap. It cost you your life’s blood. Lord, I know that in you alone I shall rise, because only you can conquer sin in me. For my part, like St. Paul, I have sought to fight the good fight, strengthened by your grace and mercy. Help me to accept every difficulty as a new chance to purify my heart and sanctify my soul.
