Thursday, October 30th we got some good news the radiation did shrink some of the tumor that was left after surgery but there is still live cells left around the outer edges. The primary cancer has not been found yet. The Doctors explain that as long as the primary lies dormant it cannot be pick up during any testing. Our fear is if it wakes up it can began to spread again. The Doctors have talked about putting Tom on a chemo pill. If he is put on the chemo pill then they could target the brain and also the dormant cancer even though they do not know where it is yet. During his stay in the hospital The Oncology Doctor Throatreddy expressed her concern about putting on chemo because of all the other health issues Tom has right now. So right now we are waiting to hear from the Doctors on the next plan if it is chemo pills? The problem also is his heart is in afib and the first part of December he has to go in for a cardiodiversion ( this is where they will stop the heart and shock it back into rhythum again. Little steps and staying strong. Thank you for your continuing prayers. He has started losing his hair so yesterday our daughter in law Marney his hair off and our sons Troy, Brent and Norbert followed suit and had their trim short in support of their Dad.
