Thursday update: I ran into a problem with the deck project. Basically, I needed three hands in order to put the joist hangers into place. One to hold the hanger against the board; one to hold the screw and one to hold the screw gun. And as creative as I was willing to get in order to solve the problem – and I was willing to get pretty creative – I just was not able to sprout another hand that was sufficient to hold the thing in place so I could screw it to the board. This was a problem for a couple of days and then this afternoon I just decided to fix it. So I took a coat hanger and made a clip of sorts that would hold the joist hangers in place. Cut to the chase – at this point Ive got about half of the joist hangers in place on the deck project. Yes, there will be photos. I dont know what it is. Suddenly Im thinking of video design for the poetry thats scheduled to go into the book. Maybe its just time. I woke up this morning and suddenly I could see “Night Must Fall on the Regime” as a video. “Friendship” is another one. Its like its a mode or something. The videos wont happen, though, until after publication. Things are looking very good with the publishing company. I should know more next week. More to follow.. :-) The postings this weekend are going to be a new piece: “A Penchant for Strippers” which – despite the name – is not actually an “R” rated piece. In fact (as will probably not surprise you) while it does have something to do with strippers, its probably not in the way that you might expect. The other posting is going to be something else. I dont have another new piece ready to go at the moment, but its a whole 36 hours or so before the weekend, so who knows what might happen? :-) Thank you very much for the shares, comments and likes on the postings this weekend.
