Thursdays tip of the day! So Im going to piggy back off of yesterdays tip and give you some more facts about this amazing business we are in! So lets talk about pyramid schemes! Where did this whole idea come from? Why do people think that MLMs are a scam. I thought that and Im sure several of you did as well! My theory is that corporate America doesnt want you to understand how utterly amazing and lucrative companies like It Works are! Why? Because of everyone knew what we knew then everyone would be doing it with us and who would make all the CEOs of all these corporations rich? Did you know that more millionaires are made through multi level marketing then any other industry in the world? If I was corporate America I would be scared too if everyone caught wind of that! But facts are facts! So lets talk about what a real pyramid scam is! A pyramid scam is when the person that gets in first at the top makes the most money and the deeper the pyramid gets the less and less money you will make and you will never pass the person that got in before you! Sounds like corporate America to me! Why? Well there is the CEO who is on the top and makes the most money. Then there is the president who comes in and makes less money then the CEO...then the vice president who makes less then the president. .. and this continues all the way down to the janitor that cleans the building! That janitor WILL NEVER EVER EVER make any more then the CEO says he can make! He could be the brightest best janitor in the entire universe and it wouldnt matter! He will still get the same pay as the guy that does crappy work and is late all the time! Sounds like a scam to me! In our business .... multi level marketing. .. you get paid off your efforts! You can pass anyone! And if you work hard enough you can make as much if not more then the CEO! You dictate your pay! So which one sounds like people are being scammed to you? Here are more facts! An actual pyramid scheme in definition is the exchange of money with no product! We definitely have products! On top of that the United states government has a governing body called the DSA that they created to make sure that pyramid schemes are shut down! In fact pyramid schemes are illegal in the USA and in most of the world. Now Im pretty sure that if we were a pyramid that the government wouldnt be taking taxes from us! Also pyramids do not have customers and It Works Global Distributors have on average 7 customers to every 1 distributor. ..Hummmmm sounds like a business to me! So I think we put a kabosh on there being any chance that It works is not a real business. .. there should be no doubt in anyones mind and anyone who says we are a scam is just not educated and is hiding behind the smoke and mirrors of corporate America! Now that we put that perception to rest lets touch on more! What people tend to do ,as I spoke about yesterday , is not take starting an MLM business as seriously as a business that would cost them a ton of money to start. People put importance on cost. If something costs more it has more value! Thinking this way is very sad and especially when it comes to a great MLM like It Works! It actually holds more value because MLM offers a way for the average ordinary person to live the American dream with out the crazy start up. Each one of you reading this probably never would have had the funds in your life time to own your very own business! BUT MLM gives you the shot at doing it! Again more millionaires are made through MLMs then any other business and if your reading this you saw through the smoke and mirrors. .. you get it. .. and thats half the battle! Now you need to work it every day like it cost you a million bucks to start it and you will be on that list as one of the millionaires created by MLM! One more point I want to argue about why you shouldnt underestimate the power of your business just because of the low start up! The time. ..the freedom... the residual income! Correct me if Im wrong but anyone that I have ever known that had owned their own traditional business still works just as hard today as when they started. Most have traditional business hours. .. they always have to be there. .. they still miss their life and family. .. they cant take off. .. they still wake up to an alarm clock. ..and most dont even start to see profit for 5 to 7 years and by the time they get to actually enjoy the fruits of their hard work they are at retirement age any way! Do you see where I am going with this? I began profiting month 1 and I can take off when ever I want because I have a ton of CEOs under me still working! I only set an alarm if I choose! I scheduling everything around my families schedule! Do you see why our business holds more value with a $99 dollar start up then a business that costs millions? Ponder on this for the next day and really appreciate how truly lucky you are! You get it! You really hit the jack pot! But make no mistake the only similarity with this business and that traditional business is that it will still take time hard work consistency faith drive determination and staying for the long haul. ...the rewards are just that much greater in the end!
