Tiger and the Kabini Sky..!! To follow my work visit and like https://facebook/MithunHPhotography A unique and another dream sighting to get a Tiger against the sky in Kabini. It came true on one of the most thrilling evenings in the winters that I have ever had where we encountered Tigers and Leopards at every bend and finally at the end of the drive ended up seeing 3 different Tigers and a Leopard. A courting pair of Tigers were on their evening patrol on a hilly terrain with the male tailing the female. We positioned our vehicle expecting them to come to this place with a elevation to get the angle and the background. And the pair did not disappoint arriving after a long wait in the golden hours of the setting sun. The female crossed the path first followed by the male who roared his way to glory. To hear the entire valley reverberating with their roars was a hair raising experience indeed. A stunning sighting. Kabini, Nagarhole Tiger Reserve. Nikon D3s with Nikkor 600mmf4 lens.
