Tijonic is an organization that works for the empowerment of women in underdeveloped countries, and we are always proud to support those with a common goal. We want to take a minute today to tell you about a project run by a good friend of Tijonics in Swaziland. Our friend is fundraising for the Peace Corps Girls Leading Our World Camp next April. They are currently trying to meet their goal by raising another $15,000 by mid-November and are thoroughly grateful for a donation of any size. Even if youre unable to donate right now, feel free to share the info with anyone who might be able to help. GLOW works with young Swazi girls to build confidence, creativity, and a vision for their future shaped by themselves. The camp and more importantly, the adjoining club that it works with year round, strive to empower these girls to be whoever it is that they want to be, despite gender roles and limitations often found here in Swaziland.
