Tim and his crew are headed back to the station after spending most the day putting out the fire on Camp Pendleton. They spent the afternoon in 90+ degree weather wearing heavy turnout gear, fighting the blaze. And now, instead of coming home, he heads back to the station in downtown carlsbad for a night of responding to 911 calls at all hours of the night. As I lay here snuggling the little ones in my comfy pajamas, I have oceans of gratitude surging through me for this man who works tirelessly to serve the beautiful community we live in.
