Time for #2 of 5 as nominated by Pamela Stevenson... Pam you inspired this choice yourself by bopping along to another of this guys hits on the radio earlier. I remember it was a favourite of my mums; she bought the single and played it regularly and in my memory its one of a number of songs that seems to have been on in the car more or less constantly. Its a cracking song by a late lamented genius of a composer and musician, which makes heavy use of syncopation and I love the chord sequence in the powerful chorus. Lyrically its about a young lad whose nose is put seriously out of joint by the arrival of a much younger sister, and it was a hit in 1977.
