Time for an odd post. To quote Samuel Clemens, The report of my death is an exaggeration. I have had a lot of people approach me concerned about my recent weight loss (especially all of the hem-onc docs I work with at Mayo) or give me really odd looks if they have not seen me in a while. It is intentional and being done under a doctors guidance. No surgery or meds, just counting calories and lots of exercise. I am feeling great and in fact have made it off of one of my blood pressure meds. Since April, I have shed 58 lbs. Big shout out to Bruce Sachais whose success inspired me to start this journey.
