I watched the documentary portion of the new Paul Heyman WWE - TopicsExpress

I watched the documentary portion of the new Paul Heyman WWE produced DVD last night. Its a really well put together documentary covering Pauls entire life and career. I found it to be a very fair and accurate portrayal of who Paul is, what hes done and how hes changed over the years. Youll feel like you know him better after you watch this, and rightfully so because it does an excellent job painting the picture of what makes Paul tick and what he is like. The hidden gems are the b roll footage of behind-the-scenes ECW stuff. This is basically just stuff from in between promos or candid moments when the cameras just happened to be on, waiting for the next promo to begin. This footage was never meant to air anywhere and the WWE production crew deserves a lot of credit for the work they put in to find it and use it effectively. It enhances the portrayal greatly. The interviews are also good and insightful. I do find it odd that Vince McMahon is not featured, although Stephanie McMahon does a good job giving the inside scoop on what it was like for Vince and Paul to deal with each other. This is also a must for anyone trying to break into the business. The way Paul broke in could still be effective today, and he broke in when it was near impossible. He gave value, he added to business, he shut up, he learned and he hustled. He didnt just send a message going I have great storyline and character ideas! Hire me! He gave something and provided value to get his foot in the door. From there his natural talent and intelligence took over. Overall, if you are an ECW fan or Paul Heyman Guy this is as must have as it gets. I look forward to seeing your feedback after you see it.
