Time is drawing near and I find myself thinking of you. You must be frightened about what is to come. I know I would be, but I doubt that I would have your strength. You are nearing the edge of the greatest mystery humankind faces. We all fear it because we do not know what lies beyond. No one has ever returned to tell us of what lies after this life. Im not a religious person. Im not a great thinker or genius. Im just a person who believes in hope. I refuse to consider that we have been given souls for no reason. I do consider that we are all part of the greater universe, that we have the stuff of stars within us, and that we have the ability to search farther than we can physically reach, with our minds and that ineffable spark that all thinking life possesses. There must be something across that dark, mysterious edge; something wonderful and amazing! You are about to become an explorer. I am certain that other souls will greet you on the other side; friends, relatives and pets. Just as there is more to our minds than mere matter, there is more to our existence than this one.
