Time is winding down! The event will be NEXT Saturday, August 2nd! Only 2 people have been selling tickets! There are 20 people in the event and only 2 people have turned in money for tickets! The venue for the event alone is costing $600 not to mention food and the printing of the programs! This is not cheap! We have only collected $170! Everyone is responsible for 10 tickets. That was a given when you first agreed to participate. The objective is to hold this event for the Houston Area Womens Center...we would like to give them a donation since we are using their name for this event. If all we get is $600, we have defeated our purposes for this event. EVERYONE NEEDS TO PUT FORTH 110% EFFORT TO GET THIS DONE. I need to collect all money by this coming Saturday, July 26th, 2014. Everyone is busy including me. We all have jobs. Most of us even have a family to take care of everyday. The Im busy excuse doesnt fly when you have committed yourself to something. I work all day and go home to cook dinner, do laundry, and work on this event until 2 a.m. every night. I get right back up at 7 a.m. to hit the floor getting ready for work. Lets put everything into perspective. This event first started off being fun for me. Now, its just work because I spend everyday trying to get grown folk to follow through with what they committed to do. We have to remember: anything worth having is worth working for. If you want this event to turn out to be something great, not just good, I would expect you to put forth as much effort to help it get to that level. YOU ARE IN THIS PROGRAM! Remember that. YOU WILL BE LOOKED AT JUST LIKE ME. I dont know about you, but I dont put my name on junk. I am working my butt off to make sure that everything turns out to be the BEST. Can I get a little help here?
