Time to Choose Choose What? To believe in Gods word. To believe He means what he says. In other countries believers in Christ are being ask to deny His name and renounce faith in Him and to convert to whatever religion is dominant in that area. In America no one really cares if you believe in Jesus as long as you dont stand for anything moral or convict any one of their chosen life style. We are being told to deny His word and compromise His life style or suffer mans wrath. You see, in all honesty I have no trouble knowing what is right and wrong. How? 1. Gods word is very clear about what sin is. 2. Gods Spirit is very clear when I have sinned. We are being told to endorse the activities of Sodom and Gomorrha and the cities about them, which have given themselves over to fornication , and strange flesh, but God set them forth for an example who suffered the vengeance of eternal fire. You notice, Jude says , eternal fire. Helping us to understand this was not just a one day event of fire and brimstone but an eternal example of eternal judgement which is to come upon all who live in such ways as they did. Just before the final hours of the judgement of the great city of Babylon one last call is made and it is specifically addressed to the only people who are capable of hearing Gods voice. Come out of her, my people that you, 1. BE NOT PARTAKERS OF HER SIN. 2. AND THAT YOU RECEIVE NOT OF HER PLAGUES. As Joshua said, Choose this day whom you will serve. Choose whom you will listen to and remember mans wrath is only temporary, Gods wrath is eternal.
