Time to ask the hard questions, So whose to blame ? We had a 40 day fundraising challenge and did not reach the goal. If we agreed with this pastor who told us The Lord showed him if we personally gave a large donation to another ministry, that because of our act of obedience, All the funds would be raised in 40 days. So we did and trusted we heard The Lord on the amount and to who and gave, yet now as this is the last day and we are shy of funds needed, so whose to blame? 1. Not God, He is perfect holy and never makes mistakes or lies. 2. Did the Pastor who told us this miss understand on the number of days? Could it have been 140 instead of 40? 3. Could I have missed the budget amount and the film not be at the level of excellence we envision? 4. Could it be I did not give a large enough gift to that other ministry? 5.could some people heard The Lord say, direct some of the resources Ive entrusted to you to help make this film of hope, but they did not give? I could go on with the what ifs but I will just say laughing, I dont Know. But God does and we have more than enough to dive into this project start filming and trust The Lord to bring in the rest of the funding needed or it may be a shorter film than we thought. :-) Triggered funds raised today = $975.00 brings us to a total raised so far of $191,127.40 (including an initial special gift of $100k) toward our complete film budget of $350,000.00 - even though we did not reach our $230,000.00 goal in 40 days we are excited about the outpouring of support. victormarx/atp-ministries/donate and select PTSD-Triggered Film More on the challenge and the film at: victormarx/40daychallenge I will tell you all this, Im so grateful for you who have given sacrificially and also prayerfully covering this ministry film. It is The Lords hands and in His timing and I know this, my Lord has never failed me and never will. (Or if I start knocking off liquor stores late at night) yes thats a joke. Our first film Victor Marx Story was completely paid for before it was screened in theaters, PTL and I believe Triggered will be as well. This film needs to be made and I wont stop until it is.
