***(Time to climb up on the... Soapbox!)*** There are times when our conscience whispers incessantly... Go ahead, its your civic duty. With the continuous and catastrophic weather events that are occurring at an ever-increasing and alarming rate, both here in the United States and around the world, wed best start listening to what Mother Nature is and has been trying to tell us... Youre destroying this beautiful planet and I am extremely upset. As this piece suggests and the tragedy of the missing flight continues to point out, our oceans are full of garbage. Are you aware of the new spill along Houstons coast that has just dumped yet another million gallons of oily sludge into our beautiful gulf and the connected oceans? Personally, I wont throw so much as a gum wrapper down. Wed better wise up, before its too late... that is, if its not too late already?
