Time to thin out the friends list. If you dont make it, then you probably wouldnt have seen this post anyways. So, nothing personal. I truly only kept Facebook as a way to stay in touch until the 10yr HS reunion. And..... I was deployed when it happened and nobody really cared that I couldnt make it. I honestly didnt care either. Im moving on with a more goal-oriented lifestyle. High School was forever ago and college has been a love-hate relationship but, the social media aspect of my life is distracting and at times feels immature. I have been mistakenly slandered in a sports scandal that I regrettably dragged my own self into in order to defend a few friends and family, and consequently severed potential future professional relationships. On a more positive note, I have met some great people and reconnected with old friends where there is a mutually beneficial interest, and that is where I want to keep my focus. If this means nothing to you, thats cool. Im not fishing for anything. This is just for the ones who may like to keep up with friends (like me) and see where they go in life.
