Tip: To keep your posture in the saddle, dont think of working - TopicsExpress

Tip: To keep your posture in the saddle, dont think of working hard or keeping your shoulders back. Instead, imagine lifting your sternum. This will raise your chest from your core without causing you to tense your back and shoulder muscles! I shared this tip at a recent expo and heres what Linda W. had to say! Thanks for the reminder and for letting me know this helped! Heres more from a full article, too! equisearch/uncategorized/riding-perfect-position/ Linda W May 1 at 10:41am · I would like to share with you how a bit of advice you gave at a recent expo has helped me a lot. Posture has always been an issue with me, I was tall early and slouched a lot. In the military it was shoulders back and suck in your gut, uncomfortable and not sustainable for me for very long. Your simple tip about lifting your sternum was a light bulb moment for me. Since then people have even asked if Ive lost weight, and I feel more balanced. Thank you so much for all you do.
