Tips for the exams (some of them are quite obvious but still good - TopicsExpress

Tips for the exams (some of them are quite obvious but still good reminders): 1. KNOW where your exams are, they are usually held in the REB (next to IMAX), Wilson Hall, University Hall and ERC. University Hall and Wilson Hall are NOT the same. 2. Wear appropriate clothing, REB will either get too hot or too cold. 3. You can actually bring food into the exams but keep it small and make sure its nothing noisy. 4. Have all your stationary in a clear pencil case, remember to bring your student card and check the batteries of your calculator. 5. Exam times now include the reading time so if your exam timetable says 9:30, reading time starts at 9:30. For some subjects, reading time will vary from the standard 30 mins and you can actually start writing during reading time but NOT on the actual script book so make sure you check with the subject coordinator. 6. Bring tissues into the exam so you dont have to sniff for the whole 2 hours. 7. For some subjects, you can find past exams here: library.unimelb.edu.au/examination_papers but they dont release a lot of them so check with your lecturer 8. Lastly, if you cant find any places to study during swotvac, they usually have empty classrooms/project rooms in each building which you can use. Good luck and comment below if you have any other exams tips which we havent included here. Also, feel free to share your funny exam stories!
