Tire Pressure/KIA Update I called The KIA Dealer this morning. I started off by asking who the manager was. After I got his name I asked to speak to him & I guess by the tone of my voice the operator knew I meant business. I had a very nice conversation with Mr. Knapp. I started out by telling him I had bought my car at that dealer & then told him what had happened yesterday. Linda, I even said if I were 40 years younger & had perky breasts that the service guy would have jumped out of his chair to check my tires. Mr. Knapp told me that he appreciated my call & was also very apologetic. He said he was transferred from Arizona to turn this dealership around. I had mentioned that the service guy told me that the technicians left at 5 & he was very surprised to hear that. He said there should be at least one technician on duty until 6pm ... He also went on to say that they have a portable air machine & that he should have assisted me. He said he would be talking with the service guy because he doesnt want the customers being treated this way. Also said that this should have been an easy fix & seemed concerned that what if I had a nail in the tire. He was upset that his guy did not even check the tires. First thing he offered me was his personal cell phone number & told me if I am not satisfied with future service to call him. The next thing he offered me was a free oil change. I promptly told him that I paid for that million dollar warranty which included free oil changes. He then asked for my full name, address, and phone number & told me he was going to send me a gift. I think Mr. Knapp is trying to rectify what happened. So hopefully future experiences will be be more pleasant.
