Tithing should not be mandatory, tithing is not an obligation that should be a tenth. Tithing was not money, it was Deu 14:22-29 shows that tithes were seed, grain, corn, wine, herb etc. If you want to tithe, let it be from the heart and thereby there is no limit to the tithe. Widows and orphans were always taken care of by the Levitical Priest. The Priest were the ones robbing God of HIS tithes and offering because they were not giving God the best. Shall a man Rob God? This question was raised to the Levitical Priesthood! First, let us, read Chapter 1 of Malachi entirely then go to Genesis 14:18-20 then Numbers 18:21-24 (Levites have no inheritance) then; Read Mal Chapters 2 and 3 then you know that God didnt want anyone under obligation but always wanted the heart to be so full it just flowed out to those in need! There are those who have nothing to give but our hands, our talents and our minds because I bodies may not function to full capacity. Give as the LORD has blessed you. Never let the right hand know what the left hand is doing. Keep your giving in secret as are your prayers and allow our Father to reward thee openly! PRAISE GOD with Repentance and Obedience. Come while the DOOR is still open.......Tomorrow is not promised. Choose this day whom you shall serve! Joshua 24:15. Remember Our God is a God of Order not of Confusion!
