Title: Stay in the house Scripture: Luke 15:11-13, NLT “Jesus told them this story: A man had two sons. The younger son told his father, I want MY SHARE of your estate NOW before you die…A few days later this son packed all his belongings and moved to a distant land, and there he wasted all his money in wild living.” The problem with the younger son wasn’t that he needed money. In fact his father had more than enough to even cater for their servants. The son lacked two things: VISION and KNOWLEDGE. In his own mind he perceived it would be better to get his inheritance now that the father was alive. He thought the father may die soon. If not why would he ask for his share of the property? “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” What the enemy seeks to do is to trouble you and make you restless. You may become so frustrated that you go to your father and ask for your inheritance. But never fall for his tricks. Don’t be pressured. Stay in the house!
