Title; myth of all my glory Poem By; Al Stone 2013 I find adventure when it captures my soul To be of inspiration and a pleasure To use these times as a spiritual guide And steer me through stormy weather. As I walk through life as a mindful drifter Has any a man done better? To make allegiance with the storm Its rage hath become my brother To flow down stream in the river of life A life of ease and leisure I make no plans, so I will not fail Be not judged by, nor be in debt to others I hide my tracks like a broken trail Find refuge anywhere for cover Naught a soul knows of the life I have lived Nor my thirst to find constant adventure But from the minds of these creative souls A mystical telling of my life unfolds With mystique and myths of all my glory But oh how creative is their stories Try as I may, to live up to there twaddle I grow old, weary, tired and troubled So I say to the writers of this fictitious me Put down your pen and let me be! And from my journeys spring truthful stories With all the facts in all its glory.
