Titles versus character and integrity Greetings to all wonderful readers in the Name of Jesus, i wish this message finds you in perfect peace. I have just a few things to air to the ears of the readers and this concerns our service as children of God, namely, 1. Why are spiritual leaders extremely wrapped up in titles and forgetting that what matters is being children of God and rendering services to the people? Of late, we have witnessed titles like MAJOR PROPHET and MAJOR GENERAL PROPHET and these people take a serious offence if you do not call them by these titles. These titles intimidate members and create islands for pastors to be dont touch leaders. They quickly forget that we are be cause of grace of God and dont own people. Please enlighten me i might be using a wrong bible. 2. TV CHANNELS PROGRAMMES Why do pastors spend hours interviewing demons as if they are friends, this causes the people who are not in the church to believe that there is witchcraft in ministries ? We cannot boast about miracles because is Jesus who heals. I CALL THIS SELF-GLORIFICATION AND ATTENTION SEEKING STRATEGIES. Demons should be expelled from people but the basis and focus should be THE WORD OF GOD and WORSHIPPING GOD! 3. WHAT THE PEOPLE NEED People need to know Christ that through Him we can be saved and all things are possible not pastors. Glory must go back to God not man. 4. HERO-WORSHIPPING Esteeming a pastor and his titles better than God and what He can do for the pastor and the congregation on the basis of His Word is hero-worship. This becomes a cult because people do church on the basis of fear than grace of God and reverence to God. Some members are told that if they stop attending their churches they will go mad, what is this? Is Jesus Christ the centre of the church or a person? Conclusion It is now time that spiritual leaders start afresh on the cross of calvary where Jesus Christ the Saviour paid our debt, we need to start acknowledging the Grace of God than becoming celebrity pastors, we need to be humble and elevate God through our actions as leaders, remember that judgement awaits any action. You can get out of these voodoo and diabolical deceit and love of money. The fact that we are still alive means that we can start afresh and please God of the gospel we are contaminating. NOTHING BUT THE WORD AND LOVING THE PEOPLE OF GOD!!!!!!!! Mathebula Joseph
