Titus 2:1-5 1As for you, Titus, promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching. 2Teach the older men to exercise self-control, to be worthy of respect, and to live wisely. They must have sound faith and be filled with love and patience. 3Similarly, teach the older women to live in a way that honours God. They must not slander others or be heavy drinkers. Instead, they should teach others what is good. 4These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, 5to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God. So when we come to verse 6 in our earlier reading we see the true meaning of the word Likewise - Well - here it is! Lets grasp Gods Word - Love it, Learn it, Live it! Dont bring shame to God, use self control, have sound faith, be submissive to our loved ones, not be heavy drinkers, teach what is good, live wisely, pure, working to do good. This is the kind of wholesome teaching that honours God! Then go back to verses 6 onwards and be blessed! It is time for you to shine! Yours in Christ - Pastor Paul
