To All La Quinta Residents And to Our Neighbors in the Historic La Quinta Cove! Enjoy the Workings of Our Local Government From Your Own Home! Stay involved with your city, your new incoming 2015 Mayor, and the activities of your City Council, by either attending in person, or viewing these important bi-monthly Government sessions on Youtube! Every Council meeting will be posted the next morning, after each council meeting - held on the first and third Tuesdays of every month. Please note, that this is the last official City Council session with iconic Council Woman, Terry Henderson, who is retiring from her longtime civic service to embark on other ventures. We all thank her for the amazing things she has done for La Quinta, having left her imprint on the city’s history, cultural, and business development. Here’s wishing her a congratulatory farewell and our deepest gratitude! And to Mayor Don Adolph, for his incredible service and contributions towards the city’s growth to help La Quinta truly become the “Gem of the Desert.” Thank you, Mr. Mayor. And thank you to outgoing Council Woman, Linda Evans, who is now the City’s Mayor Elect! We welcome her and wish her all the best. As well as to new incoming Councilman Robert Radi and John Pena! Residents are all welcome to attend the 12/2/14 City Council meeting and witness local history, as the new Mayor and new Council Members are all officially sworn in!
