To All Promoters / Party / Event organizers: My name is Hugo and I am a Disk Jockey. Please Google it and u dont even need to read what is says, just see the images and u will Realize what I use to do my job. I was told by someone that Knows me, Knows how I work and has Booked me before, therefore KNOWS what I use, that I have to bring the new technology for Djs cause thats the only connection they have at the venue and that all the Djs that they booked in the past play that way. What do I do when a promoter / event organizer REFUSES to rent a Normal Dj equipment (that works, no need to get the best in the market) that All Djs Around the World Use, All clubs have, All cultures and genres of music use the Same Equipment because there is No Budget for it? I can bring my equipment as long as u advance me £1500 in case they get damaged and also pay for the extra hand luggage on the flight assuming the airline will allow me to take 2 hand luggage. But from that SAME Budget is coming out money to pay for people to do Shows which Each one costs more then to rent that Equipment for 3 days. So once again we see whats more important on a Festival....... Sad indeed..... Its just like a formula 1 team, signing a driver but he has to bring his own car. Just like a Restaurant hiring a new Chef but he has to bring his own cooker cause the restaurant owner has only the sink and the plugs. Well my friend, I Am a Disk Jockey, call me Old Skool if u wish but I REFUSE to Adapt completely to all the new technology. Using the Real Equipment is what makes me a Disk Jockey. That is what brought me to where I am today, that is what made You wanna Book me Again. That is what makes me feel Alive while I am doing what I do best. That is my Life and I will Not Sell my soul cause the market is that way and I need follow the evolution to make money. Nobody will Ever take that Life away from me. I repeat, NOBODY. The day all you event organizers decide to adapt to the new generation / technology 100% will be the day I retire from what I do best. So for whoever did already (and we didnt speak about it) or whoever is thinking about booking my services, here are examples of what is required for me to consider accepting the invitation (assuming u guys know that u need to provide a good quality sound system and a powerful amplifier considering the size of room u have): - 2 Decks (CDJ players) and 1 mixer (3 Seperate items) if u are not sure about them, please feel free to get in touch and I will explain as there are different brands and me being a Real Dj I can play with ALL of them, not just the Pioneer like many Djs out there.
